As a pet lover I'm always looking for a beach that allows dogs. This one does but not between May 1 and September 30. Bummer. Just the same it looked like a great place to lay in the sun and take a dip during the long, hot and humid, summer days. More

It's a very nice place to walk around town and check out the shops and restuarants, it reminds me of a small beach town from the past. More

I love Lewes beach. It is like home at the beach. One family had the exact same beach equipment down to the cooler, that we had. I could stay on the beach and let the kids go into the water without much concern. The locals are awesome. One evening we talked w a local for hours! Love love love! More

Not wanting to use a credit card my husband attempted to obtain quarters from the clerk in the little building in the parking lot. The guy kept reading his book, ignoring my husband's attempts to get his... More

We were there in May 2012 so it wasn't busy and the weather wasn't too hot so it wasn't crowded at all. It was a nice place to sit down and relax, read a book while being on the beach. You do have to pay to park $1.50 for an hour and they do ticket if you don't renew your... More

This is my favorite beach to swim on in this area because it is easy to get in and out of the water without rip currents or crashing waves. Perfect for kiddies. More
