Great park with so much to do, fishing on the pier, great nature trails, intersting history, a must is to climb to the top of one of the old WWII towers, great bird watching, and of course a perfecxt beach to sit and relax or go for a swim.

The park was formerly Fort Miles and still has the bunkers, guns and towers to add interest to the beaches – fishing, camping, Ocean and Bay!

In the summer, visit a really nice sandy beach with bath houses. It will be crowded, but better than Rehoboth.. In the off season, hike and bike the park and walk the beach.

Pay as you enter don't have to worry about time on meter. Parking is right across the dunes from the beach. price includes showers and changing area. There is a concession stand. Some great walking trails.
