The historic value of this museum and village is amazing, but there is a flock of geese that has taken over the entire outdoor area and poop is everywhere. I am surprised the Delaware State Health Department has not closed them down. We were visiting right when a school group of 3rd to 5th graders was touring, and I shudder... More

Not very big by museum standards but if you want to kill an hour and learn a bit it's not a bad place to visit. More

I went there on field trips as a kid, so a little nostalgic for me. Now that I am a mom, I think it is pretty neat to take my kids there to learn about our local history. More

It was just a really unique place to experience. Many exhibits brought back memories of when were younger. More

When my wife and I visited this museum, we thought that we'd spend a few minutes looking at some old tractors and farm equipment and then leave, We were pleasantly surprised to find that the museum enthralled us for almost two hours. We would have been there longer, but we couldn't see a historic quilt exhibit because a meeting was... More

This is quite a large area right in the city set aside to show the how the area was a century ago. Both exhibits inside the large barnlike building and the outside area, that is set up like a small farming community, are very interesting. We didn't have children with us, but I think it would be a wonderful learning... More

My two daughters and I visited the DAMV on a lovely summer day. Both my 11 year old and my 3 year old found lots to entertain them. There are not just tractors here. There is a log cabin that looks like it came from a Laura Ingalls Wilder story. There is a really neat 1930's kitchen that looks like... More

We recently spent a nice afternoon visiting the Delaware Agricultural Museum, and it was an afternoon well spent. The museum traces the history of agriculture and farming in Delaware, and there are lots of pieces of both large and small farm equipment. It was humbling to think how farmers were able to feed the population using the old, crude tools... More
