We were going to NYC for the day but the traffic on I-95 was stop and go so we got off I-95 in Norwalk, Connecticut. The lovely feel of this area makes you want to come back and experience everything that is there. I especially love Caffine for a place to go and have coffee and dessert with my husband. This is a wonderful , waterfront area, featuring restaurants, shops, and the Maritime Aquarium. It is a good daytime to early evening destination. The entire tone of the area changes after about 8:00 PM, as the area morphs into a drunken twenty something frat party complete with bar fights on a regualar basis. hard to park, and have to pay. if you have kids, don;t go for dinner. lots of bars, obnoxious drunk people. you will geta ticket if you park in the wrong area More

I love living so close to the historical distric of Norwalk...SoNo as we affectionally call it is very rich with history and the sono area is full of it from the preserved buildings to the cobblestone walkways..take a walk & see for yourself More
