Take the gondola then hike the Sierra Loop Trail to Elk Camp. Mainly uphill but meanders through the woods which is very nice. The veiw from the top, approximately 2.4 miles giveas excellent views of the Maroon Bells along with other 14,000 ft mountains. When you walk back to gondola stop at the base camp for a grass fed burger. More
