some of the pens are empty. However the animals looked well kept. The gift shop was not very well stocked.

Beautiful area to bring kids. Grassy areas to stop and rest. Lots of trees and designed area for the a.imals. not all cement abd heat. Not too big but offers fun petting area for family fun.
What a nice place! So surprising- very clean, not huge very doable for families. Nice interactions with zoo personnel, feedings etc, especially for kids but for anyone. What a nice day- it truly is a hidden gem.

Even though a small zoo, a great way to spend a morning or afternoon. Really nice for younger kids. Not too much in the way of refreshments and a very small zoo store, but still a fun place. The red panda is cool and the penguin exhibit is especially interesting. Free parking and easy to get to.
I am from Denver and the zoo there is awesome! So when I moved to Pueblo I thought this zoo would be nice. You really do not get what you pay for. It literally takes 15 minutes to walk through it.
