My family and I had not heard much about this place. We only went, because of a special, that allowed kids from Colorado Springs to get in free. Well, we were all very surprised what a first class experience this was for the family. I would say it is cross between the Museum of National History and a Zoo. Even... More

The Globology exhibit is great- very interactive and a great "tour" of the Earth and climate regions. There are 2 play areas for the kids - one for toddlers and one for older kids- my 3&4 yo like the older play area. The rotating exhibit on the 2nd floor is usually very good- the National Geographic ones are fantastic (animal... More

old stuffed diorama animals, a few tiny fish tanks, it is a nice venue for maybe a party or something, but nothing to hold our interest after one pass through (parents and children alike) More

Me had been several times then decided to become members. The exhibits are nice, people are friendly and the children absolutely love it. Plus, there are many wonderful seasonal events worth attending. Take the time and see it. More

This museum is fun all year but really special at Christmastime for the huge light display including Santa and his reindeer. More

They have interesting exhibits if you read the signs, but kids with energy have a tendency to rush through and aren't really excited by taxidermy, even if it is in a 'natural' setting. More

This place has really improved! Unless we totally missed the Globeology in prior years, to me it makes the museum (and the shark display). I was pleasantly surprised when we went there last Dec. Before, it had been a museum that only took an hour to go through. Then the kids could play in the hands-on area which changes periodically.... More

Plenty of outdoor parking and location is easily accessed from I-25. It is a special treat at Christmas with outdoor lights and indoor celebrations at night. On a regular basis, it is a great place for adults and kids. Well designed with large walking areas so everyone doesn't have to bump into each other. One of the really fun experiences... More

The Wildlife Experience is not just about wildlife....there is art, interactive activities, IMAC theatre, a small cafeteria, and several special events....which are my favorites: Movie and a Martini nights are fun!!! Classes, such as Surviving in the Wilderness, are neat! Great place to go in the winter to get out of the snow. Children love it. More

Globeology was a great exhibite but was a little scary for my kids (4 and 2 1/2). It is dark and the animals move and make lots of noise. The kids areas where fun but not very big. I would go back but when my kids got older. More
