We had a wonderful travel into the back trails! The scenery was beautiful and the history was very interesting, we could have driven our selves but would not have known the best places to go or unique stories about the places. Will go again for longer ride next time!! Thanks for great pictures and an experience we are still talking... More

My wife and I joined 10 other people on a jeep tour out of Ouray up to the top of Red Mountain. The trip included the some trips to old mining camps and such. It was a blast. Keith was the driver and guide and just the right kind of laid-back Coloradoan you want for this kind of thing. It... More

I've been coming to Ouray for years. I always like to take one of the San Juan Jeep Tours. The guides/drivers know the area and its history. They are informative and entertaining. The best part is you can sit back and enjoy the view and let them navigate the rough and tumble roads. Our driver, Keith, was a lot of... More

Reserved a full day tour over black bear pass and Imogene pass. Checked the other tour companies and they wouldn't do it. Our driver, Wild Bill, made sure we got the full jeep experience and always avoided the easy way by showing us what a jeep can do. Both passes offered incredible views and plenty of thrills even though we... More

Phenomenal. This was recommended by the good people of the Hot Springs Inn. You start in one of the oldest buildings in the city - that has a historic past. Then we climbed to Imogene Pass - at over 13,000 feet. With a near 360 degree view. Keith, our tour guide, was funny, extremely knowledgeable, I never felt unsafe as... More

We spent two weeks in southwestern CO and northern NM - we are still talking about our afternoon with Keith! We went up to Red Mountain III - a mouth-dropping, gorgeous place that you cannot access unless you take one of these tours - private mountain, gated access, who knew?? So worth it though - like going to Heaven. Keith... More

Booked this trip over Black Bear Pass-11,018-foot and Imogene Pass-13,114 foot for my husband's birthday....it was an awesome trip! Bill, our Texas driver made the trip....his humor is not to be missed. He made sure we had a great time and never missed a bump! He stopped and told us about the history of the area and gave us lots... More

My husband and I took a morning 4-wheel jeep ride to Imogene Pass. Keith was our driver and guide. He was great! He explained the history and difficulties of life in the early mining towns along the ride. Along the way to the 13,000 foot pass, we passed such beautiful scenery, fields of columbines, streams, and forests. Keith also learned... More

This is a harrowing jeep ride from Ouray over Black Bear mountain to Telluride, lunch, and back on the Imogene Trail, which is also very rough, very beautiful and exciting. This is the most exciting Jeep tour in Telluride and I wouldn't go with anyone except the oldest company in Ouray, the San Juan Jeep Company. Before you go, you... More

On 8/21/12, we took the afternoon 4WD Jeep tour up to Imogene Pass for the half day tour, and I had no idea what to expect, except some fun and something different. Now, I can't tell you all how much fun and exciting this tour was!! Our guide was Keith, and he was the most personable, knowledgable, interesting, down to... More
