We went early in the morning (2nd tour) and did the normal discovery tour (not the lantern tour) and the guide was so rude! Our toddler (19 month old) got fussy while inside the cave and started crying and the tour guide humiliated us in front of the whole tour group saying that he would have to escort us out... More

My Family and took the Lantern Tour. This tour includes some additional areas of the cave which are not lighted, you carry an alcohol lantern. On the plus side, the tour is interesting, the tour guide we had was very enthusiastic and entertaining, and includes a few surprises. One of the best is an opportunity to blow out all of... More

Great cave tour with knowledgeable, friendly staff. Lots of super things to do including rock climbing and zip lining across the gorge. Fun gift shop and snack bar have reasonable prices.

This was a really neat experience, You go into a cavernous cave with no light except for a candle lantern. Great history behind the place to. The guide was very entertaining and filled with interesting information.

I have visited this cave more than once and I would highly recommend it! It's very informative and while not the biggest set of caves in the U.S., it is still very impressive. It is accessible to both young and old and one of the best parts is the constant temperature below, whether it be hot or cold up top!... More

Very good tour. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. We had the best time and learned a lot. This is one of the those tours that is worth the money and not at all like a typical tourist trap. We had had problems with the thinner air as we are from Ohio but did just fine in the... More

Its easy to get to and close to other interesting attractions. Took 2 parents, myself, 2 adult children and grand kids age 14, 12 & 8 (4 generations) and we all loved it. Parents age 77 did fine. There is not a lot of tall cathedral type chambers but it was fun and all ages loved it.

We took the Lantern Tour and you'd best be advised of a few things - if you are at all, AT ALL, claustrophobic, do not, I repeat, DO NOT go on the Lantern Tour. Secondly, if you are not acclimated to the thinner air and/or you have any respiratory issue (no matter how small!) DO NOT go on the Lantern... More

Cave of the Winds is located in the beautiful little town of Manitou Springs. While the majority of the tour is In-doors....within the cave network, there is also a cool rope challenge course outside that is popular during the warmer times of the year and particularly summer time. The tour guides are very friendly and very knowledgeable. The gift shop... More
