We loved this hike and took our two sons along but be aware that it is very crowded. The hike is somewhat steep, but our four year old was able to climb it with no problems. More

It was a strenuous hike in but well worth it! We went the first week of November. The water was the most beautiful color and there were benches around the little lake where you could just sit awhile and take in the beautiful setting with waterfalls. Best time to visit is in the spring during runoffs. Gorgeous views and easy access once you have climbed the 1 mile very steep and not very easy trail to the location of the lake. More
