We had a great ride on their sleigh. Hot chocolate was provided as were blankets. The wrangler was local and very friendly and informative. The scenery was beautiful.

We took a sled ride, right before New Year's. My family truly loved this experience...completely worth every penny!

We had the best time doing a sleigh ride with Rapp Corral, it was intimate for me, my husband, my sister and her husband we ended up with our own sleigh. Our guide was funny and knowledgable. And of course the horses were beautiful. Highly recommended.

Ann Rapp runs a first class operation north of Durango and her employees are all cordial and well trained. We took a family group on a sleigh ride and had a super time. The sleighs are comfortable and the wranglers are informative and friendly. We rode with Joe who could not have been more outgoing. My handicapped son was not... More

An easy drive north of Durango, the folks at Rapp Corral are friendly and attentive. A nice little waiting area with hot chocolate and candy to watch as your sleigh is hitched up to the team of horses. Nick, our sleigh driver took us on a great 45 minute tour around the lake with a stop to play in the... More

We booked the 2hr ride and cave excursion based on the great reviews- and as experienced riders, really enjoyed it! We went the first week in October (day before Rapp Corral ends trail rides for the season!) when the leaves were changing colors, and the scenery was spectacular. The terrain varied- from the flat meadow pasture it felt like a... More

The four of us seniors took the 2 hour cave ride this morning. Everything about it was great! The horses were well suited to our abilities, our wrangler, Michelle, was fun, professional and knowledgeable and the ride was spectacular. The aspens and ground cover are turning which made it a breathtaking ride through the forest. The hike down to the... More

I took the cave ride with Rapp Corral and I am a horse owner and lover. The ride was so incredibly beautiful, and the horses handled the rugged terrain very well. Anne is very knowledge, She provided headlamps and a personal tour into the cave. I have to say all the horses there are very well cared for, obviously well... More

The horse matched my personality in Rocky Boy as he was spirited. Michele the guide was informative and patient. The cave experience was awesome. The downside is not experienced enough riding to feel comfortable in anything beyond a trot and they stick to a trail rather than having some freedom to run about.

We actually stayed in a cabin right across the highway from the Rapp Corral on a recent trip to Durango. Our family did the Cave Ride, which lasted about 2 hours. Jenn, our guide, was very patient with my 8 year old who talked non-stop throughout the ride. (He was pretty excited.) She was friendly, knowledgeable, and did a great... More
