I was fortunate enough to arrive for a tour one Christmas season just as they were about to make candy canes. We witnessed a splendid operation as numerous candy makers formed an assembly to make hundreds of hand-made canes from hot gooey cane candy. I was enthralled and kids were tickled. More

This is a SMALL operation, but well worth the time. They show a sort video and the take you to the viewing area and explain all the parts of candy making while watching the chefs hand make the candy. The tour is mostly spent watching 2 areas that are side-by-side, so not very much walking at all. (maybe 150 feet... More

This factory gives free tours and shows you how hard candy is hand made. It is a short tour (great for kids with short attention spans) and they have free samples at the end of the tour. There is a great candy shop at the end of the tour also. Recommended, fun place to stop. More

Christmas of 2010 the entire family including my 80 year old mother went on the tour to see how candy canes and Christmas hard candy was made. It was wonderful. I would recommend it to everyone. More

Tour is free, the staff very friendly and helpful. The shop is goodie land, for sure. We sampled both the chocolate and hard candy, both wonderful. The truffles vary from the usual, and were delicious. Great assortment of hard candy. More

I just happened to pick up a brochure about the tour at the airport and was so happy we found it and stopped by! It's a quick tour, but very informative. I hadn't heard of the candy before but did contribute to the company in the store at the end of the tour. Worth stopping by...even if you're not a... More

Take them here! It's in an industrial part of Denver, not much around, but it makes for a fun little trip. The kids will get some free candy and you will get left at the candy shop at the end of the tour, so make sure the kiddos had a protein and fiber packed breakfast to combat the insulin spike! More

It was must stop for us... And while the tour is for short duration, it connects u to the history of candy making, and also the process or making candies. Absolutely fascinating and must see ... The tour guide ensures that the tour ends with mandatory candy in hand which is no doubt mouth watering. While there is world of... More

We headed out to Hammond's Candy for an afternoon trip with the kids and we waiting in line for the free tour. Well they should really not even call it a tour if you don't get to see the factory in motion. The tour guide even mentioned that he himself was wondering why we were having a turn at that... More
