My wife and I were recently visiting Denver, and needed to get a nice run in, as we are prepping for a half marathon. We jogged to the Cherry Creek Bike path from our hotel and off we went. This is an awesome place to run or bike, and it was clear that many think so. The trail is well... More

I was staying in downtown Denver by the Convention Center and 16th Street Mall. I could walk a block to the bike path, walk/jog the 3 miles to the mall, shop, have lunch and then catch the 83L bus back to the 16th St Mall and free shuttle back to my apt. I did this frequently in order to cover... More

I stayed near the Convention Center and rented a blue bike right across the road from the hotel. I could ride directly onto the bike path and go "down river" to REI and then "up river" to the Cherry Creek Mall. At both spots there was another bike rental station. The bikes are heavy and slow so you get passed... More

I use to bike 8.5 miles each way from home to work, in spring/summer and talk about a great start to your day. I am in no way a pro biker, but the paths are generally forgiving of such. The views, the nature, etc. also make it worth it even for the staunch novice such as myself. Other bikers are... More

I used to ride this everyday. It is amazing as you pass through the city unencumbered by traffic. However it is very busy with other riders, walkers, skaters, and watch out for strollers. You need to keep your speed down if it is busy. But busy helps make it safe.

This bike bath is quite unique because at least some parts of it have the bikers and the walkers separated so both can travel without problems. The landscaping is exceptional and there is easy access to all local attractions.

Made the mistake of going for a walk on a Sunday, near Cherry Creek Shopping Center, and on the only sunny day in a while. Could barely carry on a conversation without being constantly interrupted with "On your left" or as one doofus said, "On your right." People race along this path and grrrumble when they have to slow down... More

Hiked 9 miles on this path and saw the huge REI and Mile High Stadium from this Cherry Creek Trail that followed Cherry Creek and the South Platte River!

Denver has the best connected bike paths in the country. If you like to bike or rollerblade or walk great system of bike paths. Some are hilly so if you are a flatlander take heed

Central bike path understandably busy but connects to everywhere. My favorite is the Clear Creek trail to the North then west to Golden. Up Monument Hill for a climb or circle back through the new trail on 13th ave light rail. Easy connections to Chatfield or Cherry Creek Reservoir to the South.
