They are in the Mountains and they are parks--what better Colorado combination can you find. Love the Buffalo & Elk and snowy mountain peek views. There is great variety--have fun and make it a goal to visit every Denver Mount Parks (which aren't in Denver by the way...its a long story). I enjoy the view coming down the Lariet Loop...

This is a nice tour, showing some of the mountain parks ownded by the city of Denver. Allows for astonishing views, but does not actually get into the rocky mounains (would also not be feasible as the length is rather short).
The only minor issue is that the tour departs early; a hotel pickup is offered but departs even earlier.

For $40 this was a great tour. The amount of time (~4 hours) was perfect. We got picked up & dropped off at our hotel. The tour doesn't take you to the foothill mountains per se but you do drive through the area and get to see them. Plus, at the Buffalo Bill Cody grave site, you get to spend...

Fantastic scenery and lots of animals to see. Herds of Elk . Alluvial Waterfall was nice.

It was a little bit cold after we reach the top of the mountain. You can look around and you will see cars just like ants under the mountain. Just be careful when you driving up the hill.
