Overall, this is probably just an 'average' car (transportation) museum with the eclectic arrangement of older cars (1900's-30's), a few examples of rail history (engines, passenger cars, etc), a fair assortment of motorcycles and a nice group of models and toys. I rated it 'very good' based on the special showing of some very nice 'woody' wagons. The 'woody's' were,... More

I've been to a number of auto/transportation museums, but this one has an amazing collection. The large trains alone are so incredible. The time I went they had a T-Bird collection that covered every year. There's also a motorcycle collection if you're into two wheels.

There are lots of static displays of cars, bikes, motorcycles, wagons and some trains. It would be nice to have more interactive displays or guides to answer questions about it. I would still recommend it especially if you like autos and motorcycles.

A museum for many ages, this one concentrates on automobiles and railroads, although other transportation (motorcycles, planes, tractors, others) are represented too. One of eight surviving instances of the world's largest steam locomotive is nicely displayed, along with passenger cars of the golden era of railroading. I'm pretty sure that the large number of "woody" station wagons was a special... More

This ever-evolving museum just gets better and better! In addition to rotating special exhibits you will enjoy the world's largest steam locomotive, Amelia Earhart's gorgeous 1923 car, a cool bicycle collection showing one so old it doesn't even have pedals or brakes, a hot motorcycle collection, stage coaches, and of course lots and lots of beautiful collector cars. A favorite... More

I took my son (who is obsessed with trains) and my daughter (4 and 2) here and they both had a blast! The trains were unbelievably huge and the collection of cars was beautiful and all of historic significance. I have been in the muscle car hobby for 20+ years and I loved every minute of this museum. Worth the... More

If you are over 50 this is your place. It is the home of grumpy old men. They have a nice collection of cars, some trains and lots of bikes. But there is litte to no signage to explain the exhibits. Thus it is really just a collection not a museum. Very strict rules that you are told to repeat... More

Cars, trucks, trains, motorcycles and more. Climb into the cab of the Big Boy engine, a train so large that you can't get it all in one picture. When I was there they had a special display of woody wagons. These cars are works of art! For you riders, lots of old motorcycles, especially Indians. Well lit and spacious, you... More

This is the place to visit. Cars, trains, and motorcycles are all here. Some odd vehicles to see too. Even a collection of bicycles. If you are interested in the history of transportation you will like this museum. It was a lot of fun to look at everything there. I would go back again.

Great place to visit. They have something for everyone. Bring one of their brochures and get $1 off admission. They have locomotives, passenger and dining cars, cabooses and a neat antique locomotive/snow plow. They also have all kinds of bikes, carriages, cars and motorcycles. Check out their limousines. Just saw new 3 month exhibit of woody station wagons. They don't... More
