I have had a membership at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science for many years that allows me to take up to 7 people in at a time. Why? It's an essential place to visit. There are lots of spots for kids to play on a grey day--preschoolers in the Discovery Zone and extra spaces in the Space exhibit...

You could spend an entire day here. Lots of different exhibits. Lots of interactive things that I think kids would like. The gem exhibit (lower level) was incredible. The interactive health exhibit was nice. Lots of dinosaurs and animal dioramas. We barely spent any time in the space area. It was pretty overrun with obnoxious loud screaming school children. Cafe...

Museums are always great visits for kids as they get to learn many new things. Denver museum is good for someone who has not visited museums elsewhere. There are better ones but for local people this is the best option. I did not feel the visit was worth the money they charge. May be I was expecting more or something...

A friend and I visited this museum on May 7, 2012. The museum is huge, but was absolutely teeming with very young children whose excitement somewhat dampened the experience. The Space Odyssey exhibit was unique, informative and interesting and there were many museum volunteers at various stations to explain the exhibits. Unfortunately again, the place was absolutely packed with boisterous...

What a great Denver museum! We always make a day of it when we go here, we go at 10, look around, have lunch in their T-Rex cafe, which makes some killer mexican food - just super! Then we go back into the museum at a leisurely pace. Take in the fun gift shop. Stop for a coffee break in...

I have made the trip to the Denver Museum many times and am always happy with my visit. The new snake and lizard exhibit is quite wonderful. There were many volunteers out and about to educate and answer any questions.

Visited the DMNS and spent the larger part of the day there and still didnt have time to get around all of the exhibits. All of the sections of the museum were interesting and the current installation of lizards and snakes is a highlight of the trip. Refreshing to see a special exhibit that is included in the cost of...

The Denver Museum of Nature and Science is an exciting place to go no matter how often one has visited. Each time, whether from the docents, new exhibits, or more time spent at static exhibits there is something to be learned about our wonderful world. There are also a lot of 'hands on' parts to the exhibit that allow everyone...

Whether you are here for one of the frequent special exhibits or just viewing the standard halls and showrooms, this is a great museum. Their dioramas are famous and cleverly executed -- don't miss them. Also don't miss the outstanding gemstone exhibits. The interactive hall of life has some great stuff, but our experience has been that it is always...
