We got in free due to our membership at our local museum and although we didn't have time to visit the additional Ice Age exhibit, we did see the 3D Imax about the Ice Age and we all loved it. Highly recommended!

While on vacation in Denver we visited this museum and had a blast! There are 3 stories packed full of fun and educating exhibits. The mummies were very interesting and my boys loved the dinosaur exhibits. The human body exhibit was very fun and interactive for the boys. They especially loved the age progression simulator. We had a wonderful time... More

I have also been a fan of Nature and Science Museums since a little kid and I was not disappointed spending a Sunday Afternoon exploring the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. The Musuem is located next to the Denver Zoo and is a nice alternative if the weather is either a bit too warm or if the weather turns... More

This museum covers many topics. Included are Fossils, gems and minerals, the human body, Mummies, Native American history and Space Exploration. I was impressed with the Wildlife Dioramas on the 3rd floor. Great variety of items in the gift shop as well. Nice place to spend a few hours.

Probably the pride of Denver Arts and Science. Great Natural History Museum with rotating exhibits and IMAX. Really enjoyed the displays of Colorado Nature. Botanic Gardens and Zoo are nearby. Planned a family trip to the zoo, but weather went cold and damp, so hit the museum and had a blast.

We had a wonderful time with our grandchildren ages 2,4, and 9. The exhibits were great for all ages and very hands on for youngest. The health exhibit was amazing. The RockyMountain train movie was great. The food was good and reasonable. Convenient parking makes this a great trip for all ages.

My family saw the IMAX movie - Flight of the Butterflies in 3D this past weekend. We were absolutely thrilled with the high quality of this film. Not only is it visually stunning but also this is a fascinating story about a Canadian scientist's (Fred Urquhart) lifelong quest to study the migration of the monarch butterfly. He starts his research... More
