A library lover's paradise -- you can sign up for a lending card regardless of what county your "home" library is in. Architecturally interesting, they have a variety of programs outside of just their lending library. Wide range of materials available -- take advantage! More

This is a nice library. I was disappointed that the wifi was not available in all parts of the building. More

Of course there are many, many books at the Denver Public Library but the building and architecture are interesting too. Be sure to visit the galleries and check out the events. Also, go up to the Library Commission Room on Level 7. There you'll see the Legacy Table and have great views of the street below. More

The design of this building--and the outdoor art nearby--is outstanding. It was a meeting location for the heads of state attending the Denver Summit of the Eight in 1997. More

Drop in, oogle the architecture - go to the floor with the Western History and Archives dept. to see the inside of an oil derrick that forms the reading room. Get a cup of coffee at the coffee shop, peruse the current art exhibit. A lovely library. More

First of all, I LOVE libraries! Whenever I travel, I try to visit the library in the city I'm in, from New York (outstanding), to Phoenix (not bad). Denver has one of the best libraries in the country! It's laid out well so you can wander from subject to subject in sheer bliss. If I didn't live 20 miles away,... More

i'm not sure why, but every city should have a library. and they close at night so the homeless have to shuffle off elsewhere. More
