This is such a great ski resort. There is so much variety and it never seems to be crowded. I am a little hesitant to say what a great place it is as I hope it will never be as popular as the crowded Front Range resorts. Every time we ski here we are so glad we did.

We found excellent lodging at the Plaza in Crested Butte. Our large two bedroom condo was just a three minute walk to the lifts! We enjoyed the service, the hot tub and especially appreciated the covered parking!

Very fun experience for kids and adults. Dave the owner was extremely nice and kind to the kids. The kids LOVED being able to mush (run the dog sled). The 1 hour course we rode was beautiful and pleasant, not rough dog sledding at all. The dogs were amazing! A highlight of our trip!

Great ski resort! The snow / conditions were amazing. The bus transportation was a great way to go in town and not have to drive. Everyone from the staff at the resort to the locals were extremely nice and friendly.

Very reasonably priced accomodations of various types from condos, to hotels, to houses for rent. Food on the mountain very reasonable, you could have lunch for under $ 15.00 unlike many other resorts. Great little downtown area with art galleries galore, a wide variety of dining establishments for all types of budgets. Super convenient free bus transportation system from mountain... More

The town of Crested Butte is a great trip even if you don't plan a thing. Sit on a bench in town and enjoy your coffee. Take a blanket and sprawl out with a picnic in one of the beautiful parks. Views are free, you never have to get in your car once you arrive and the vibe in town... More

CBMR is a nice family ski area with only 4 high speed detachable quad lifts to service the ski area. It is almost like a museum of old lifts bought to show what the history of skiing was like in the "old days." Many of these ancient double chair lifts never (or seldom) operate, but they're there to see. The... More

My husband and I loved skiing and snowboarding here. The mountain was great and the runs were so fun. I loved the length of them and found that the difficulty ratings seemed very accurate. We skiied all over and hit up almost every lift. I love that they offered a military discount, because I booked this trip as a surprise... More
