This was a very impressive museum showing the history of skating with past champions. There were lots of actual dresses and costumes worn and medals won. Good history of skates as well. Loved some of the old pictures. Also good videos of synchronized skating and jumping. All around good museum of the sport of figure skating. Also good art, drawings,... More

As a child I came to the Broadmoor and witnessed the skating back in the days of early competition and it was most enjoyable. I have been fortunate to have a friend whose parents were both Olympic Skaters and got to know how difficult it was on family life but what a gift the Broadmoor was to the sport.

If figure skating is something that you enjoy, then you'll love the museum. From the history of figure skating to costumes to the hall of fame, it's presented well. A great way to spend an afternoon! The only think missing? The original Broadmoor skating arena where many Olympians were trained.

My ice skating daughters loved it! They were wide-eyed throughout the museum. They enjoyed seeing winning footage, costumes and Olympic gold medals. The adults in our group enjoyed learning the evolution of ice skating from it's early beginnings to it's current form today. Plan on a hour to visit the first and basement floors. Admission is free with a USFSA... More

Enjoyed visit through museum and hall of fame and learned many things about skating. Tragic plane crash in 1961 gets deserved attention here, as do important highlights in skating history. Be sure to visit both basement and first floor.

This was our second trip in three years to the hall of fame. Admission is free with a USFSA membership. Was pleasantly surprised to see new exhibits since our first trip here. We spent an hour here and close to 2.5 hours the first time we visited.

Upon driving up to the building you think not much to look at from the outside; however, when you go inside there is much to see and explore.

This museum is one of the best I have ever visited. The entrance fee is only $5 for adults and $3 for seniors and children 6 - 12. They have so many original costumes and original equipment along with original footage of some of the most famous performances! I learned more about the skaters than I ever expected to. Plus,... This is the place for true skating fans! Learn about the history of the sport while reminiscing past achievements and accomplishments of your favorite champions. See some of the glamorous costumes up close. Enjoy the art work that expresses the beauty and physicality of the sport. Seeing different types of skates is informative as well as viewing skates of yore.... More
