Feeding the giraffes is always a highlight, but wonderful new grizzle bear, river otter, mountain lion exhibits too. New Elephant exhibit coming very soon!

It was the best zoo we've been to. You get exercise, a great view, tons of different animals, and there are several little activities throughout all times of day.

I have been to many zoos around the world but have never experience one as animal friendly as the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. The living areas were large and natural and the animals were able to be viewed in as close to a natural setting as one can get. The staff I encountered seemed to really care about the animals and... First we caught the Zoo in between seasons so they hadn't moved all the animals to the summer quarters. With that being said it was a great time with lots of things to do. I have to admit that watching people feed the giraffes was some of the best of what we saw. And the sky ride up the mountain... More

Good day at the zoo. Most of the animals were active, despite it being in the low 80s. The zoo is on the side of a mountain, so there is some up hill walking, but there is a tram for a small fee. Huge variety of animals and learning experiences. Feeding the giraffes is fun. Well worth a visit.

We had a great family day at the zoo on a cooler May Day. It is such a nice setting for families and for the animals that are living there.

From the absolutely best interactive giraffe experience to the magnificent scenery, this zoo is by far my favorite I have ever been to. The staff were wonderful and helpful, the exhibits were great, and all of the animals looked well cared for. My favorite part of the zoo is the walk - you're walking uphill, downhill, all along the side... More

The exhibits were clean and interesting, spacious and natural looking. The zoo obviously takes good care of the animals. The elephant and giraffe exhibits were huge with indoor facilities for their care. All the exhibits I saw were setup with the health and well being of the animals as the priority and the visitor experience was also excellent. This "Mountain Zoo"... More
