It was a gorgeous day, and an incredible experience. I'm not wild about driving on mountain roads, so we took the Cog Railway up and rode down. We saw some beautiful scenery going up and coming down. We've done other bike rides down mountains, and this was the best yet. We loved the all-inclusive price. It covered the Cog Railway... More

Our oldest son is a cadet at the Air Force Academy and we took this tour over the Labor Day (Academy Parents) Weekend. Our party consisted of my wife and I, our cadet, and our youngest son, who is 17 years old. We took the tour where they take you up in vans (hr and a half drive) and you... More

I did the Cog Train up/Bike down combo trip and glad I did so. The Cog Train is the same ride up and down and you are assigned your seat; so you won’t really see anything on the way down any better/more than on the way up. Although, I suspect this is not totally true as the people that got... More

My eleven-year-old son and I took the Pikes Peak Cog Railway up Pikes Peak to our final elevation of 14,115 feet! Out of our family of six, only he and I opted to do the trip down the mountain by mountain bike pn the Pikes Peak Highway, with Challenge Unlimited and their Cog Up/Bike Down package. Apparently, it's new this... More

My 12 year old son and I cogged up and biked down, it was an awesome experience. The staff at Challenge Unlimited were friendly, helpful and fun. My son had the time of his life. We stopped several times along the way to view the amazing scenery. When we started, it felt like we were driving off the top of... More

I want more, more, more. The day before our tour we did a day of white water rafting and zip line, which we thought awesome, let me tell you a day with Challenge Unlimited topped our rafting adventure. Our guides were Tim (on bike) & Kelly (in van) they were funny, informative, and most of all safe. You are really... More

I brought a 17 and 18 year old on this trip thinking that it would be slightly adventurous. We were stuck in a group with an elderly couple and kept stopping approximately every 2 minutes on the way down the mountain. And there were also 2, 13 year old girls in our group who complained to their father about the... More

The Pikes Peak by Bike trip offered by Challenge Unlimited is truly an amazing experience and an absolute must do while visiting the beautiful Pikes Peak region of Colorado. My husband and I have lived here for over nine years and are in the lodging and hospitality industry. We've experienced many of the area activities and this by far is... More

We rode the "Prospector" self-guided tour... was it really 17 miles??? We were able to go our own speed, taking time to appreciate the views offered on the trail. The maps provided were right on, so we had no problem making it from St Peter's Dome to the bike shop in Colorado Springs. What was the best part of the... More

Wow. We just did this trip today and it was incredible. Kids are 13 & 11 and a mother and father that are not fond of heights. The crew was very nice and the bikes were in excellent condition. We were told to go as fast as we felt comfortable. They had a van in front and behind the group... More
