Great place to soak. I think the evenings would be better because of all the constructon going on. The bathrooms were busy with construction also.

Stopped on our way through traveling to Denver and we were not disappointed. Nice quiet location with crystal clear pools. It suffered a fire but they are doing the renovations and I am sure it will be better than ever. I would suggest an adult get away or families with older children as the pools are deep but the ave...

We had issues with another resort in the area and were left "out in the cold" by them. We knew nothing of the area, and Cottonwood Springs helped us find a place (My husband doesn't like communal stays so we turned down their offer to stay at the house) that offered pool passes and was a GREAT place (even though...

We recently stayed at cottonwood in one of their cabins. Number 4. Very cozy with a wood stove. A great place on a snowy weekend. We ventured up to the springs once but enjoyed the privacy of our tub for the most part. Part of the fun is talking to the other people, but it was cold and walking directly...

if you like a nice quiet hot springs then cottonwood is for you. the accommodations are not five star but the are comfortable. no kids after six makes this a great spot if you dont want kids around. cottonwood is about 1.5hrs from frisco in summit county. not a bad drive and you can stop and enjoy leadville.
We stayed for two nights in the Lodge. The rooms are not fancy but they have a fridge and a microwave. There's a kitchenette available in the main part of the lodge if you want to make a snack or breakfast. The rates are reasonable and the place is clean. We will visit again.
A nice place for a rustic overnight stay. Don't expect elegance or you will be disappointed. My husband and I stopped here for a night during a colorado road-trip.
Spent a very relaxing time at this spa, I recomend the dormatory if you are on a budjet, it's a big family style room with a kitchenette. The staff was very friendly, I would love to go back
We were there in December of 2012, and enjoyed our visit. We have been to alot of hot springs in Colorado, and would put this one in the 'good' category. The setting is nice - it is in a bit of a canyon in a natural setting. The pools are nice, hot, and clean. The amenities (changing rooms is about...

I've visited the Cottonwood Hot Springs on 3 consecutive vacations and never been disappointed. Their natural springs are warm and clean; some are almost too hot. Some have natural ledges to sit and soak, along with sun shade tarps.
The only pools without the seating areas are the "cool" pool and the therapy pool
I have also had spa services...
