My husband and I stopped off here to grab a beer during a recent one-night stopover in Boulder. We're glad we did. The servers are all friendly and helpful; they want you to leave feeling like you had a good experience and a good beer. We had both.

We stopped in late afternoon before dinner reservations at another place. The staff at the bar were really friendly and seemed to genuinely want to find a beer that fit your taste preference. The bartender poured 3 samples for each my husband and myself. When she heard that it was my birthday, she bought my first pint. While looking at...

This is a great place to stop in for lunch and a fresh microbrew. The food is great! I highly recommend the bleu-cheese burger. I've had lots of great seafood lately as I've been in Costa Rica for awhile, but as soon as I get back I'm heading to Mountain sun for that beautiful delicious burger they make. They also...

We have lunch here every time we visit Pearl Street in Boulder, and this place never disappoints. Their black bean burger is one of the best I've ever had, and the fries are amazing. Great hippie atmosphere, and the staff could not be any friendler.
My husband and I like visiting places like this. Lax staff with dreadlocks and casual atmosphere. Beer was good and food was okay. Def go for the beer and expect average food.
We knew we were in for a hippy treat when our waiter with a sun t-shirt, long hair and a Tibetan necklace walked over and introduced himself as Jade. Next came the supervisor who was a lanky Shaggy look-a-like from Scooby Doo. As though the waitstaff were not enough, the food was wonderful. Tempeh wraps with parsnip and goat cheese...

This place is amazing! Everyone who works at Mountain Sun is fabulous. The food was great and the beer was too! Can't beat the laid-back atmosphere.
We mostly visit Southern Sun, but it's the same menu. This one is smaller but on Pearl Street which is fun. Love the chicken quesadillas!
It looks like a large college bar/ brewery on the outside. When I went with friends I wasn't sure they even had a full menu. Oh gosh, the food is so good! I went back 2 more times in one month. Do bring cash though, they don't take cards.
This was on our list of places to have a beer. The beer was very good, but we just didn't feel like we were in a brew pub. It just lacked the atmosphere of one.
