On The University of Colorado campus there is this awesome planetarium that features lectures and laser light show with music. (Lady Gaga is next in April and we are planning to attend).) It started off late with technical difficulties, then when it did start the commentator was hard to understand with his strong accent. He explained things about the stars but used a laser pointer which really was difficult to see how the shapes in the sky really took to an actual form of something and when he did put up the... More

I used to live in Boulder, and loved this place so much I ended up volunteering there.It's a great family-friendly place - all kids love space, and parents will be wowed enough by all the fun visuals (and probably fascinated by how it all works) to be interested, too. The laser shows - recently revamped - are a treat.Be sure... More
