My husband and I went rafting from 8 - 3 on the Lower Kern with the Kern River Outfitters. It was an amazing experience! We had a great time. The guides were knowledgeable and fun, we felt safe the entire time, but challenged on class 4 rapids. The lunch that was provided was so yummy - make your own sandwiches...

Our family of 5 was the first group of the season this year for the lower Kern two-day trip. It was cold so we were thankful for the supplied wetsuits. Along on our trip were 6-7 guides polishing their skills. The only negative was that the camp and lunch sites hadn't been prepared for the season. We encountered knee-high sticker...

I have taken rafting trips on the Kern River with Kern River Outfitters many times over the years and every trip is fun and always a bit different. My favorite is their two day Lower Kern trip for groups of family and friends and I have also boated the Upper Kern and Forks of the Kern. The rapids and thrill...
