We took advantage of an amazing weekday lesson/equipment/limited lift ticket rate for beginners for our two sons: $35 each! The instructors were really nice and very good at communicating the skills because both of our boys were able to ski on the beginner run with reasonable control by the afternoon. It had been a really long time since my husband... More

My son and I spent a day at Sierra at Tahoe in March 2012. This trip can easily be done as a day-trip from the San Jose area. The scenery on the way up to Tahoe and at the ski resort was beautiful. The ski slopes were well-groomed and the whole resort was well-taken care of. The staff was very... More

This is the 2nd bad experience ive had at this resort. Ive been skiing & snowboarding for the last 30 years & have always enjoyed the experience except for the two times I visited sierra. Last year I was standing in line waiting for direction to get on the lift. There was some confusion about who was next so when... More

We have been skiing Sierra at Tahoe for the past 6 years. We've put our 2 daughters through ski school and can't be more pleased at how well they are skiing. This is the first season that we are all able to ski together as a family and are having such a great time. We love the wide open runs... More

Has many good intermediate runs, and a few advanced. Exiting onto Hwy 50 can be a nightmare. More

I signed up for the 3 day ski course at Sierra-at-Tahoe. While the price was unbeaten by any other resorts or schools in the vicinity, the quality wasn't compromised. For that, Sierra deserves full marks. Sierra seems to have everything for everyone. While the Broadway was exciting and not too intimidating for a beginner like me, the intermediate skier in... More

My husband has been skiing since he was young going every year with his family. My first time to ski was 3 years ago and it was at SIerra. The people there are really GREAT!! I did not receive lessons, my husband taught me but the slope for beginners is really nice and wide!! The drive to this place as... More

I was impressed from the moment we drove in the parking lot-hybrids park for free and we have a hybrid so that was an added bonus! We were running late today as our car would not start at the hotel and we had to get a boost. We got to the hill just before lesson time but the staff were... More

My favorite resort in Tahoe. Great runs, great parks and great vibe. Tons of specials and the best season pass out there. I bought the season pass along with the food and beverage card (which you can reload anytime) that gives you 20% at everything at the resort, minus lessons. Speaking of lessons, I got an advanced snowboard lesson with... More
