This park is so beautiful! It has the redwoods, the pacific ocean, tidal pools, Agate beach and a replica of a Native American village. I used to take my first graders there every Spring to experience the sea life in the tide pools. More

We spent 4 days in the Agate loop during my daughter's spring break. Everything was great, as usual, but the park was a little worse for wear due to many windy storms over the winter. If you are going to Patrick's Point to hike the trail down to Agate Beach..**BEWARE** the trail is officially CLOSED indefintely due to mudslides. This... More

Last year my son and I decided to check out this wonderful State Park which has been on my "bucket list" for a while. From the Sacramento Valley, it is quite a trek, but it is worth it. There are two main routes, and both are beautiful. This was a camping vacation for us, and we stayed a week. Many... More

This park has lots to offer with campsites on top of the cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean. A trail takes you down the cliff to the beach. Agates (semi-precious gems) can be found along the wave-washed shoreline if you know what your looking for. Great for camping or day use. More

We stopped at Patrick's Point to watch for whales & look for agates. We saw no whales, but had fun looking for agates of which we found a few. We also enjoyed clammering over rocks to look for creatures in tidal pools. Nice place to stop. More

Considered one of the best "power centers" in No California, I have to agree. The Yurok village is a must see also. More
