This park has lots to offer with campsites on top of the cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean. A trail takes you down the cliff to the beach. Agates (semi-precious gems) can be found along the wave-washed shoreline if you know what your looking for. Great for camping or day use.

We stopped at Patrick's Point to watch for whales & look for agates. We saw no whales, but had fun looking for agates of which we found a few. We also enjoyed clammering over rocks to look for creatures in tidal pools. Nice place to stop.

Considered one of the best "power centers" in No California, I have to agree. The Yurok village is a must see also.
