Toured the factory on a segway tour. Very cool. Cheese was amazing, and prices are very reasonable. Brought much cheese home!

We enjoyed sampling many varieties of the local cheeses made here. Took them back to our room to enjoy and bring home.

take the time to go to this small but incredibly good cheese factory. No tours but the selection is incredible and it travels easily. They let you taste as many as you want. Open Mon - Sat...Most recent visit was on a Sunday and we could only peer through the glass front door at all of the options :(.....

We stopped by and bought some jalapeno cheddar - it was delicious! We suggest showing up and asking to taste a few of the different styles/flavors to find your favorite.

Visited again this year and it never gets old. Sampled about 7-8 cheese varieties, from soft to hard, and bought 3 different cheeses to take home. Always one of the highlights of my wine country trips.

On a day between wine tours, we visited this fourth generation family owned cheese maker. Our walk--a few blocks beyond Sonoma Plaza--was delightful, passing beautiful small homes and a horse pasture, horses and a barn. The cheese was delicious and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable, serving up generous samples in the tasting. We bought three cheeses to take home... More

This was recommended by many and more of a local place. The cheese was amazing and we were able to buy some to bring home. Definitely a must visit in between wine visits!

If you want really great, homemade cheese, go here. Vella Cheese is a family owned business with great service, and even better cheese.

Little shop that was recommended by one of the wineries. They sell their cheese in large quantities too. I recommend going there and trying some of the cheese. Make sure to buy some in bulk as you can keep some for an impromtu picnic at one of the wineries or you can take it home!

This cheese company has a sister cheese company near where I live in Ashland Oregon. The cheese has consistently won prizes, both local and international. I can't get enough of their dry jack, nutty, salty and sublime.
