This was the first winery we visited in Sonoma the hotel we booked was over sold and when we arrived at Larson everyone there was extremely helpful in suggesting a place to stay. Marisa was fantastic friendly and very knowledgeable of the wines, which were also very good! Yard games outside and family friendly, Larson was a perfect stop! Cheers!

We were so impressed with this family owned estate with so much history! We stopped by while on a wine tour of Napa/Sonoma and were the only people doing wine tasting. The "guy" doing the wine pouring was so full of knowledge and made us feel pretty special! It made you want to buy everything this winery has to sell!... More

My boyfriend and I went on a Wednesday afternoon in February and we were the only ones there; it was perfect! The grounds were beautiful and our pourer was very friendly; he spent a lot of time talking us through the wines but he also wasn't overbearing or made us feel rushed. The tasting fee was very reasonable ($5) and... More

Very quaint, staff was excellent....not snobby like some of the others, & a cute bulldog named Nigel running around! Try their Three Lab Cab and also their Late Harvest dessert wine. Fabulous!

This is one of the few wineries that we've visited where we liked all the wines during the tasting. My wife and I were with Edge of the World Tours, (see my review!) and this was our favorite winery of the day. We've been to Napa and Sonoma several times in the last couple of years and finding a small... More

Our family of four adults went to the Larson family winery and were welcomed as we entered the doorway on what the facility had to offer. This is a beautiful castle with stunning woodwork in the castle. It has several wine tasting rooms and a deli/store to purchase meats, cheese, wine and wine accessories. We did not do any wine... Loved the small intimate feel! Bought two bottles of their Three Lab Cab and can't wait to drink it when it arrives.

This winery is off the beaten path. It is contains photos and stories about the history of the family and the land they have owned since the 1800s. It was fun to tour, read and learn. The wines were pretty good. Favorite was the Three Lab Cab. The ambiance and reception felt like home. We didn't want to leave! Thank... More

We were there while they were processing the harvest. It was neat to see all of the grapes just picked and dumped into a juicer.

We took our chesse, olives, bread and crackers off the beaten track and had a lovely picnic at this vineyard. Its true what they all say that it is kid friendly, even the sheep like to be pet. And they were very gracious hosts giving us a ice bottle for our 3 Lab Chardonnay (which we bought there) and allowing... More
