Stop at the original one! This is the great one and the lady pouring is quite charming. We had a GREAT time there and the wine was good. We had stopped here ten years ago while visiting and it had not change :-). We were very excited about their new spot too. However, we got there showing our stamp from... More

don't be fooled by the first big touristy foxen tasting room. it's just like all the others, then our wine pourer tells us that there's another foxen tasting room right down the rode. our kind of place. homey, friendly, small with awesome wines. joined their wine club on the spot and can't wait for our new shipment. thanks, foxen More

Went to this winery in addition to Firestone and Fess Parker - this one would have to be my least favorite of the day. We arrived 30 minutes before the end of the day, but the staff rushed us through our tasting. Also, the staff seemed more engaged in their personal conversation than engaging with the customers. Out of all... More

Also, while we were at the first location, there was another couple there who was inquiring about their award-winning 2010 Chardonnay -- unfortunately, they were sold out. As... More

First you hit the older, original wine tasting room. Then travel down the road 1/2 mile to their new tasting room. Very fun. More

Foxen Vineyard is a small winery on Foxen Canyon Rd East of Santa Maria, Ca. Its tasting room look like a small barn just off the road. I didn't think much of it until I was told it was used as a film site for the the movie Sideways (2005) for about 10 seconds- where Jack helps himself to a... More
