The wines are great--the Syrah and Sylvaner, particularly so. The drive out to this remote spot is beautiful. What more could you ask for? More

All the wineries near Santa Maria are pretty far from the 101 Freeway, but the experience was worth the effort. The views are beautiful and a little different from most surrounding wine areas: low gentle hills and valleys with long vistas of perfectly groomed grapevines. This winery was staffed by two very pleasant and informed young ladies who liked wine... More

The Sisquoc lable features an old church visible from Foxen Canyon Road, but don't be mistaken, the winery is quite a drive off the beaten path. Pretty grounds, ample parking, OK wine. More

Long, windy road. Saw deer on the beautiful grounds. Very good wine. More

We trekked here because of other great reviews and were not disappointed! Just keep driving further into the hills! The tasting was $8 but we got to keep the glasses. The selection was good but heavy on the reds. Many different varieties with unique tastes. We tried them all and took home 3 bottles after struggling to choose which ones.... More

Located in northern Santa Barbara County on the Sisquoc River 18 miles east of Santa Maria, California, Rancho Sisquoc is part of an 1852 Spanish land grant. To the Chumash Indians of the area, "Siaquoc" meant "gathering place"--and today Rancho Sisquoc is again a gathering place, this time for wine lovers. The 37,000 acre ranch was purchased in 1952 by... More

Reviews are all consistent with our experience! Although it was more like a 20-30 minute drive off the main highway, it is definitely worth the time. Very secluded and not much around except miles of ranches and beautiful flower beds. Once you get to the ranch, the tasting room is charming. The River red blend was my fav! Recommend sitting...
