We had intended to make the rounds and try several of the tasting rooms in Santa Cruz, but we started and ended here. The wine was so good, the experience was so much fun and we had had our fill of wine (plus three bottles to take with us) that we called it a day. The hostess taught us a... More

Wonderful wine tasting room in Santa Cruz. Hawaiian motive and great coffee and wine. This is a do not miss when you are visiting Santa Cruz. Delicious wines, beautiful outdoor space and perfect bar inside.

Loved the wine tasting at this location! We went on a Tuesday afternoon and could only find two places open (the other was Storr's). When we first got there, we were the only ones, but the place filled up quickly thereafter. The young lady behind the counter was very knowledgeable and not shy with the amount of wine she let... Wine tasting at MJA was a highlight of our trip. We opted for the flight of reds, and enjoyed them all. Marin is the owner, and he was pouring the day we stopped in. He also grows Kona coffee on the Big Island in Hawaii, and the Aloha spirit is alive and well in his winery. He pairs some of... More

Super welcoming and friendly. The location in Los Gatos is atop the summit. Woodsy, great location, excellent wine, charming employees!

This tasting room is great! The owners came from Hawaiian, so there is a very laid back attitude at this place, very pleasant and friendly. After a visit we became club members, you just can't go wrong with their wines. Not only it is a great visit, but you won't walk away without buying a few bottles. They also have... More

Great selection of wines paired with a great owner, Marin. We are in the wine club and like his blends. They change regularly and have not had a bad one. This is one place not to miss if you are in the area. While you are there, get some of his coffee and Mac nuts from his farm in Hawaii.

We stopped in on our inaugural trip to Santa Cruz. Marin (the MJA) is a funny guy and great to talk to and clearly likes the wine making biz. The tasting was very good - I think we got 8 tastings for $8 with accompanying chocolate and coffee tastings as well. All of his wines were great too.

This is such a fun winery to visit. You will surely leave having joined the wine club. The owner and his son are so hospitable. A lot of the wine is made from grapes not grown in the Santa Cruz appellation but it is such good wine!!! You can sit outside, taste the wine Nd enjoy the day.
