I have been riding the Giant Dipper for 45 years. It's the best. Things have changed since the last time I was there. Some things don't change ---go early o get a parking spot. They had a sand soccer tournament going on. We had never seen sand soccer before. Lots of food, rides and sand.- some shopping. Not a good... More

We spent a couple of days visiting the boardwalk. It was especially nice that we could visit the beach in between walking the boardwalk. The rides are typical and expensive, just like any amusement park. Parking was $12.

The beach was great and the views were even better. The town was nice and clean. We went there in December and the town was very quiet in the afternoon. We saw the surfers in the cold ocean. We like to go back in Summer next time.

Went to Santa Cruz to enjoy a small beach side town. Did not expect street people and drug addicts everywhere. Our hotel person warned us to stay away from the park after dark. Our kids are 12-14 and they know drug addicts as we live in Vancouver and have more than our fair share downtown. We did not expect them... More

I guess I can say we lucked out when we arrived at the Boardwalk on a Thursday morning. The weather was spectacular and the Boardwalk was not overly busy. There are numerous rides and things to do on the boardwalk. Be aware that small children cannot go on numerous rides. If they are under 48" tall, they will not be... More

We took in the boardwalk and beach on a Wednesday evening and there was a very little crowd. Lots of shopping, dining, gaming options. The water is cold of course being on the left coast, but with a wet suit one can get in some surfing. The sun is out most of the year (80's) and the temps in the... More

Our first time to the boardwalk and we will definitely be coming back! Firstly, I have to say there were A LOT of people both on the boardwalk and on the beach, but somehow, it doesn't seem too bad. There were a lot of rides to choose from for our kids and then we spent hours watching them play on... More

I went here with my teens and we all had a good time, although we have different interests. The Boardwalk is adjacent to the beach with easy access - indeed there are even foot washing stations as you exit the beach straight onto the Boardwalk. We were there in early June and they are constructing a new roller coaster. The... More
