Such a beautiful scenic park. It was a definite stop for me on my recent trip to California... I HAD to go and see the beauty for myself and I was not disappointed!! Stunning beauty! I wish I could have spent more than the hour that I spent there.

There is a small parking area near the former arches, which have now fallen into the water. It's a good place to take the sea air and watch surfers, though. You can also go down to the beach and look into tide pools when the tide is out. During winter you can walk down the winding wooden ramp to a... More

Wonderfully romantic place to sit and watch the sunset and wildlife. Tons of photographers come here to use the natural bridges as backdrop for photoshoots or to shoot the bridge at sunrise/sunset.

The geological formations are surprising and interesting, the area is clean, in season the butterflies are beautiful, and (at least the half-dozen times we've been there) it's NEVER CROWDED. Perfect place for a picnic, to read a book, or to just sit in the sun and visit with a friend.

I love picnicking here. The trails are easy and the views stunning. Remember to bring money for parking. I believe it's $8 per car. They have restrooms and lots of spots to picnic at. Also in the winter the Monarch butterfly's come to rest before moving on in the early spring when it warms up for their migration. Such beauties... More

We usually come here to see the butterflies during the Monarch butterfly migration but anytime of year is a great time to visit. It is a beautiful area with easy walks to the beach and vast ocean views.

Walk the eucalyptus groves full of monarch butterflies, at shaded picinic tables looking out over sandy beach. Perfect place to spend the day with kids.

I came wishful to see a forest of monarch butterfiles but sadly they had migrated away already. The girl at the visitor center was extremely friendly and knowledgable and told us the best time to see the masses of Monarchs is November... maybe i'll come back then. She was sweet enough to let us know that at that moment was... More

Beautiful and free park, with trails that lead to a small but relaxing beach. Cool rock formation out on the beach and a freshwater stream that empties into the ocean. Lots of little trails to explore, but watch out for poison oak on a couple of them. There are some really cool trees, and we saw a fair amount of... More
