Quaint cobblestone bricks, creek runs thru, cafes nearby & great shopping. On holidays there is usually a festive celebration in the plaza. Oh... Thursday night is the SLO Farmers Market - an absolute MUST DO if you're in the area. Great food, live music, real shindig!

The mission itself is honestly fairly boring. But they do hold a number of local events there every year, including the free concerts during the summer and it is a good locale for those things.
