We were fortunate to have a great guide who took the time to show us around and explain all about their types of wine and what made them special. Then we had a wine and cheese tasting while learning more about these wines. It was great and offered a variety of wines for different palates. Highly recommend! More

Already a fan of these wines so a visit to the tastiing room did not dissappoint. We also had a chance to taste wines that were not on the menu - which is always a plus!! More

We recently stopped into Merryvale at the recommendation of a friend. The grounds were beautiful, and the tasting room was welcoming. When we arrived, we were the only people in there, and were offered two different tasting options. Being that we had been visiting wineries all day, and spending loads of cash, we opted for the signature tasting (the cheaper... More

This is very close to the town of St Helena. They were about to close and gave us a warm, welcoming unrushed vibe for our tasting which we really appreciated. The room has a bit of shopping for Napa treats, accessories as well. There is some interesting history in the story of this winery. Definitely worth a visit. More

A group of six of us recently went to Merryvale for a scheduled tasting and had a great experience. When we arrived we were greeted and taken to our tasting area which was located in a more private area (The Cask Room) away from the "regular" tasting counter. We were ushered into a giant vertical cask in which the tasting... More

Went to Merryvale because our Limo Driver suggested it. Ron was great. He took the time to explain everything to us. I can't wait to get the wines I ordered. More

My husband and I love tasting wine and have visited MANY wineries over the years. Wine tasting has become questionable when the cost for 2 to taste is $70. I understand that Merryvale has amazing wine but next visit, we'll buy the bottle for $125 and enjoy without the commentary and sales pitch. More
