This is probably the best park in Sacramento. Great area, park surrounded by palm trees and upscale houses. I'd walk here, read, sit on benches and I'd bring a pound of peanuts to feed the hundreds of squirrels in this park! Squirrels are everywhere but especially in the trees near the geese and duck pond.
