A great city park. Big swimming pool. Good place for pickup basketball games. The Geese at the duck pond are a real trip. More

McKinley Park is a local favorite. You will see that it is well used. Everyday, no matter what hour, you will see residents and visitors enjoying this beautiful park. On Saturdays during the warmer weather, a free Yoga in the Park session is held at 9 am behind the Rose Garden. All are welcome. Just come and bring your yoga... More

When I went as a kid in the 70s & 80s they had tall (hot!) metal slides. And I loved it. A lot has changed, but a lot has stayed the same. The play equiment is better, the duck pond is still there, and the grounds are pretty well maintained. We take our toddler there occasionally and a year ago... More

McKinley Park has been around for ages and it shows. Also, it's not a huge park as in William Land Park but it is an oaisis in a sea of uban living. I go there when they have events like Psyic/Massage fairs More

There's a good playground - lighted tennis courts - basketball courts - softball diamonds - a rose garden for stolling or weddings - a library branch -and a pretty duck pond with the best-fed ducks in town. The pool is not open often due to budget cuts. It's a very popular spot for large picnics. More

This is probably the best park in Sacramento. Great area, park surrounded by palm trees and upscale houses. I'd walk here, read, sit on benches and I'd bring a pound of peanuts to feed the hundreds of squirrels in this park! Squirrels are everywhere but especially in the trees near the geese and duck pond. I counted 30 in one... More
