This old town area has been nicely restored and has a good variety of shops. Situated along the river and the railway you can see how the town would have looked (minus the speciality shops of course). They have boards up telling you about the history and it's a great place to wander around.

My wife and i have gone here several times over the years. It is always alot of fun. All the little shops are great. I especially love it in Christmas time. We always do a carriage ride when we go. it is great for dates.

Unless you want Chinese-made souvenirs and fattening foods, skip this downtown attraction. There are much more attractive places to visit and see (like the state capital or the adjoining gardens. Sadly, this area has seen much better times.

We just did the quick walk-through because the sidewalks were about to roll up for the night, but it seemed very cute and my son loved looking at all of the trains!
