Wonderful museum that has an expansive collection of planes from all eras; the volunteer staff we came in contact with was extremely knowledgeable & will chat about their area of expertise with you or find data you may be searching for. It's well worth the extra $3 a person to take the guided tram ride as you can cover the... More

This is a hidden gem located next an to actual air base right off the freeway. It is large so plan to spend several hours here. Bring water as it can get hot in the summer time. Most of the planes are out doors but you can get up and close with the. Unlike other museums that are cramp, there... More

A perfect and educational place to take the family to help teach them about our country's military past. We have also viewed the Vietnam Memorial Traveling Wall at this location; a solemn and meaningful experience. Bless All who serve our great country both past, present and future.

What a nice surprise!! They have a very nice indoor museum, with great exhibits to accompany that planes that are housed inside. Very well informed docents when we were there on a weekend. Outside are dozens of old planes, most of which you can walk right up to and touch. You can wander through the planes on your own, reading... More

Lots of planes, indoors and out. Many displays, photos inside with information. Take your time! This is touchable history. Also has a nice, unique little gift shop.

We arrived on Sunday morning & with the weather a little on the cool side it was not busy at all. Nominal entrance fee & for an additional $3.00 per person you get a tram ride with a docent who explains about every plane on the field. Well worth it as the docent knew about every plane, what war is... More

I love air museums. This one is special, I used to live right next to the base. Lots of tremendous historic jet planes here!

This museum has a great selection of aircraft, some inside but most outside. Very informative displays inside and out, and despite the weathering, the outdoors aircraft look better than most I've seen. My wife and I spent about 4 hours browsing inside and out, and were rewarded with some real flying action (C-17s and tankers) since the field's runway is... More

Recently visited March Air Museum and was pleasantly surprised! Great indoor museum with multiple historical air exhibits, planes ..... even an SR71. Outdoor museum has ~~ 77 planes, helicopters --- even a B-52 and C141. Immediately adjacent to the Interstate (Van Buren exit), this museum has a family / volunteer orientation --- meaning that the facility and staff were very... More

The March Field Air Museum has quite an impressive array of aircraft and other military artifacts on display. As an added bonus, many of the volunteers are retired military that previously worked on the exact planes on display. How can you get a better tour guide?? What a treat!
