The course itself is fantastic, and especially on the back nine you can enjoy amazing views. Pretty expensive for the general public, but an absolutely awesome deal for Stanford students. It costs only $25 for students with ID. Another great option is the twilight round, which costs only about $13 for students.

My husband and I play every chance we can when we are in the area. Had a beautiful round. Course was in good shape.

You have to be connected or lucky to play the Stanford course. It is an excellent course that, IMHO, acts more like a public course in that it isn't country clubby. What most people don't know is that the club house accommodates all kinds of kids sports teams from the area at low rates. Check it out.

Fun, long holes with gorgeous upkeep and great weather. Be careful, though, a round can cost you $150 and you often can't get reservations by phone. Instead, you have to show up at 6:30am to put your name on the list...yes, really.

The course is open during every month of the year, and has very reasonable fees. Students should ALL take advantage of having the course -- but visitors can also take pleasure in the beautiful course overlooking Stanford University in the heart of the Silicon Valley.

A great challenging and interesting course. Very beautiful, not near a highway, refuse center, airport like public courses. I played here for many years, I never got tired of it.
