We visited to eat at the faculty restaurant. We had the buffet which was good (but not fantastic). We also had meetings with two professors.

I was at the university for a conference. I had little time for playing tourist, but did manage to take in the Henry Moore sculpture. And I shopped for souvenirs at the bookstore. Beautiful campus. I wished I had had time for the Rodin sculpture garden.

I love Stanford. The campus has very consistent architecture (spanish-style) and excellent landscaping. It is beautiful here and everyone is young, happy and on their way to some kind of activity. It's like a retirement village for young people! Running/walking the dish is highly recommended.

Was in the area for a street fair and decided to visit the campus. Amazing! I couldn't get over how huge it was and the architecture was fabulous. I'll definitely visit again when I have more time to walk around.

Drove here on the way back to San Francisco and it was so very interesting! Having seen much of it on TV, we were finally here! We parked the car in the visitor area (not easy to find, has to be said) and had about 2 hours to walk around which we made the most of of course. We were... More

We walked from our hotel to see the school and visit the bookstore. It really is a beautiful campus. We were able to catch both swim team and softball practice and see the athletic facilities which are impressive as you would expect!

Try to visit the Rodin galleries onthe weekend when a docent is available. You will really gain a lot form the tours. Very nice to have such well known and great art on public display just for the visit.

Great to walk around the landscaped gardens of the campus. Lots of parents looking around with prospective students was a fun thing to see. Some very proud dads were on a tour with hopeful sons.

Loved walking the campus, it is lovely. Park settings, beautiful trees, sculptures, fountains, church. Peeked in to watch the dance class. The campus store for tourists is quite large. Would love to be a student here! Lovely lovely campus.
