This is a very nice hike, not too long. You can go either with a ranger or by yourselves. The ranger was very informative about the flora and fauna and about the culture of the Indians who loved there. More

I have not been to Tahquitz in years. As a kid I used to hike to the falls almost monthly, especially during the hot summer months. The hippies ruined it in the late 60s and 70s so now only paid guided tours allow you to visit but I am sure it is still a worthwhile hike. More

simple hike in about 1 mile. at the end there is a nice waterfall to look at. the water comes from the snow up on a peak. the water is about 40 degrees. the hike out is about 1 mile . nothing to see other than the waterfall at the end. cost is 10 bucks a person. More
