Used to stop at Hadley's on the way back from Palm Springs. Cheap gas at Morongo, buy some stuff at Hadley, do a bit of shoppping in Cabazon, then back on the road. I came away somewhat disappointed in Hadley. Despite a large section of dried fruits and nuts in this warehouse-sized store, chocolate covered walnuts or at least coco dusted walnuts are NOT carried here. My wife and I stopped at Hadley's before heading back to Los Angeles and we tried the date shakes. I'm not a huge fan of date's, but the shakes were delicious! They had a limited menu of other items to eat (burgers, fries, deli sandwiches). We were hungry, but the menu/cooking area didn't look too appealing, so we ate elsewhere.... More

It's in between the Desert Hills Outlet and the Morongo Casino, not very catchy but definitely worth a visit. Great sandwiches (ostrich, buffolo, veggie, you name it) and don't pass on their date milkshake. I had the date banana shake and it was good, though a little too sweet for me.
