Very well-maintained aviation museum, featuring well-presented displays and murals in addition to the aircraft themselves. The museum's Pacific Theater hangar includes a small but impressive collection of large-scale ship models -- check out the cutaway USS Sullivans and cutaway Balao-class fleet boat! The museum's aircraft are not roped off, so visitors can get up close and personal, and most are... More

A must for WW2 buffs. Allow 2 hours for a quick overview and at least 4 hours to take in all the static displays and demonstrations. More

The only reason I didn't give this a 5 is it is a bit pricey for its size compared to other air museums I've seen. But, it is fun to see all the planes, read the history, and talk with the docents. More

My Andrea and I enjoyed the "self tour" through the great airplane hangers. We actully walked through a WWII B17 "flying fortruss". The exhibits were immaculate and you get close up to them. You can actually get into one of the planes - the Flying Fortress. The volunteers showing you around are very friendly and informative. More
