Had a wonderful hike - almost stepped on a rattler, so watch out. A magical place. More

Entrance fee was $9 per person; we parked at the Palm Canyon parking area and in the trading post they recommended a loop hike that was about 3 miles long--one mile out along a river in shaded areas with Palm trees, and about two miles back over higher elevation in more exposed desert. It was beautiful and quite a contrast.... More

We have been to Palm Canyon before and wanted to share it with our kids. Lots of water in Murray Canyon right now. The reserve is beautiful with lots of hiking options. The local rangers are very helpful More

we visited this great spot in April but didn't start until noon. It is nice and cool down near the stream and the huge palms but the hike up & down was hot -- met by cool popsicles at the Trading Post! Really unusual and beautiful spot - well worth the trip. Next time we will start earlier and spend... More

The access could be tricky for some as it is quite a steep decent into the oasis of the Palms but worth the effort. More

Whether you want a long or short hike, strenuous or easy, there is something here for you. Ask the staff at the trading post what would be the best! They are awesome. We did a 3 hour hike into the hills and it was fantastic. Don't forget to watch the hummingbirds just outside the trading post. More

Lovely hiking area. It is worth the admission price to explore this canyon and view. The magnificent giant palm trees. The first part of the trail takes you down to the canyon floor where you find picnic tables and a restroom. It is a great place to take photos. It is a flat, wide trail once you get to the... More

You have to do at least the first part of this hike where you will get to wander through groves of tall palm trees. What a treat to find this in the middle of the dessert! More
