Great way to spend 3 hours! We chose the Nightwatch tour to avoid the afternoon sun but I think this would be fun any time of day - lots of breeze in the valley. This tour has quite a bit to see and explore - the slot canyon was fabulous. Kids will like riding in the jeep and exploring the... More

Russ our guide was a lively competent and friendly companion. He leaded us to fascinating places of the Desert related to the San Andreas Fold Line. His knowledge ranged from geology to the botany of the area and he also explains how the native used the diverse plans for their survival and cultural enrichment. The highlight was a climb to... We enjoyed a wonderful day in the desert. Eric, our tour guide, was knowledgeable, pleasant, and nurturing. After being picked up in downtown Palm Springs, we were whisked off on an exciting tour which exceeded our expectations. You will not be disappointed. Also, our guides ran down the block to returns items which we left on the jeep.

Our tour host Russ is an excellent teacher of many fine facts he talked to me, answered all my questions quite funny at times, respectfull and very caring to make sure we did not get heat stroke. Russ was very well prepard with nice cold water to drink, shade when we needed, and cold wet towels to place around our... More

4 of us jumped on a open air jeep hosted by Carlos yesterday and enjoyed the day emensly. So much to, so much to learn. Carlos was an excellent host. A must do even when 100 degrees. He supplied cold water, cold spray bottles, cold clothes all served the need perfectly.

Was drawn to the company because they are "eco" and the San Andreas fault. You are skirred around in fun little red jeeps in groups of 6-7. Each group has it's own guide which makes for both a personal and intimate experience. We traveled with Carlos who enthusiastically answered all of our questions so throughly the tour ran over it's... More

With a group of almost 35, Desert Adventures picked us up at our hotel, provided a fun filled, adventurous tour of the San Andreas Fault in the desert and even stopped by an agriculture site which was of interest to our group. We even climbed a hill for a bit while learning about local species and vegetation. We didn't carivan... More

My partner and I were spending the week of Spring Break (I am a Junior High Teacher) in Palm Springs. On the weekends, the parking lot of the casino in town holds a craft/art fair. One of the booths at this show was Desert Adventures and we met Bob Gross. We talked to Bob for quite awhile and decided to... More

I took two 16 year olds on this tour and we had a new tour guide. the guide was very nice, but fumbled a lot and even admitted that he should have studied that weekend. We learned a lot about plants and the kids loved the hike up through the rocks.... the guide was a bit out of shape and... More

Wonderful guide we had, Morgan. She's been doing this for 20 years and still cares. My children are 9 and 13 and really enjoyed themselves. This is highly educational and fun at the same time. We did the San Andreas fault tour and were very pleased. Do not forget your camera as I did.
