When they have a show it's worth the trip if you are near by. other wise it's not that big a deal.

The Carnegie is a real find. Located in one of the classic librairys built by Andrew Carnegie, the museum hosts rotating shows primarily of California painters. The shows are always interesting showcasing the extraordinary diversity of California's painting history and present.
