i have took my kids there many times its very good for young riders that are just starting and its very hot during summer so bring lots of water just go there and have fun and please take out what you bring in and keep the place open for the rest of us More

I have spent many weekends in Painted Gorge, near Ocotillo, CA. It is a very pleasant and relaxing place, albeit one with no amenities. There is no water, gas, or food for many miles. Once in the canyon, a 4X4 is highly recommended. The canyon begins at about sea level and climbs to about 3,000 ft. All but the last... More
