I live in San Clemente and dont know how many times i have been down there. They have great dog trails as well so you can take your hounds down there too. Love it, it is definitely for everyone! More

I'm a local at SanO and San Clemente State Beach. I live in my RV with my dogs, and they've been raised thinking that SanO is their backyard. A GREAT place for camping, lots of fun for the kids to go exploring. Trails 1 & 6 allow dogs on the beach, but they must be on leash until you hit... More

It's a place made famous by surfers from the 50's and 60's. You go through Camp Pendleton Security gate to get there, so that's kind of odd. Good to go once. More

Decided to see what San Onofre was all about after a court battle was won to keep the far end of the beach free for naturist use. The first time I went there, I walked down from the first parking area around the power plant to the other end. Eventually I reached the nude area. I found it to be a beach where you can take very long walks. The nude area stretches in to the Camp Pendelton area. You may be asked to go back north... More
