I go to the beach about every other weekend for a day of sightseeing, trying out a new cafe, enjoying the wonderful weather, taking pictures as I am also an amateur photographer but most of all I like walking on the beach barefooted in the sand and having the surf wet my toes. This is a wonderful place to come...

There is everything to like about Newport Beach...from old line restaurants to the cutting edge in eateries, whale and dolphin watching, deep sea fishing, hiking, biking, water sports of every sort. We go twice a year.
However, if you need to use the restroom... BEWARE! It was absolutely DISGUSTING! I will not go into detail on what we experienced as it may be unpleasant to read for some. They have a nice little wash off area at the beginning of the beach (which was great for washing off that remaining bit of sand before getting into...

I loved this beach because it is long enough to walk for a long period of time in the sand, with the ocean sounds and appreciating the views. They do have a boardwalk, which is also nice and can be used to walk, run or biking. The weather wasn't nice enough to stay in the beach, but I suppose it...

We had a good time at the restaurant out at the end of the Pier (but unfortunately it has fallen prey to...

Our family has had many happy reunions at Newport Beach. We ride bikes, explore the sea life, swim, surf, and sun bathe. Then we barbeque and hold potlucks in the evenings. I particularly enjoy walking on the beach in the early morning, when hundreds of starfish and crabs can be seen in the rock jetties and sandpipers search for breakfast.
A great way of enjoying the beach is to get away from people by kayaking the back bay. I highly recommend it. It is very peaceful, even meditative. It's a good way to see something that is otherwise disappearing from our ecology. The bay brings in migrating birds and other small animals such as bobcats can be found here. It's...

Phenomenal climate; great restaurants & hotels. Magnificent beauty abounds at every turn; the sea, the foliage and the overwhelming sense of peace which envelopes you everywhere. Could very easily stay and call it home.....
There is reasonable parking nearby, and restrooms off orange street with a nice kids playground. The beach is long and not crowded I love this beach!, no hustle no bustle.
